Spring Break Reminder

Reminder that there are not official Practices during Spring Break, but we are going to try to play pickup on our fields and just have fun both monday and wednesday from 3:30 until about 5:30.  If you can make please do.

Jerseys! I would like to put the order in for Jersey's as soon as possible so I need to get everyones Jersey Size. Please post it in the comments below. If you played last year and have a number that you would like to keep please post it as well. If you are new and have a number preference you may post a number you would like, but I will make no promise to anyone that they will get their preferred number.

Posts below should look like "Andrew Barten, size L, number 17" but use your name, size, and the number you would like or a ? if you don't have a preference.

No practice tomorrow. Some playing options during Spring Break.

Reminder, No practice on Thursday. We are now practicing outdoors on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 until 5:15. Also, Next week is spring break so we will not have traditional practice. However I would like to take a poll on who would show up from 4:00 to 6:00 on Monday or Wednesday to scrimmage? If you can make it please post saying you're interested.


Also I wanted to make a note of another opportunity to play Pick up Ultimate. Hubbs will likely be at the Saint Claire Playground (Corner of Saint Clair and Onieda in saint paul) on saturday morning at 10:30. Anyone interested in playing or watching more experienced players play should stop by for a bit (forecast is 41 and sunny).

Outdoor Practice on Wednesday. Sorry for the late posting.

Late reminder that we our Outdoors for Practice on Wednesday. It will likely be a little wet and muddy...you should dress accordingly (Warm clothes, and hopeful water resistant). Everyone outside by 3:15ish, ready to run at 3:30.

Just practicing to see if I can still remember how to post things on to our Blog.

Just a few updates.

I have registered us for 2 open teams and 1 girls team.  Checks are sent in and we are all set to go.

Blitz date on Sunday.  Please be at Sibley at or before noon.  (we will likely be out selling by 12:30 so if you are going to be later than that please let someone know so we can make accommodations. If you can bring a parent who is willing to drive you and another player around please do so.  Parent if your kid can bring you a long you will be very helpful, but also you may be bored. It is a good idea to bring something to do that you can do while in your car.

Jerseys are currently be Managed by Lady Captain Maggie Smith, I will get an updated photo posted as soon as I can. Then will will figure out costs and get them ordered as fast as we can.

Indoor Practices Start Next Monday!

We have finalized our indoor practice schedule:

Starting Monday March 2nd:
- Mondays 4-6pm at Friendly Hills (Boys only)
- Tuesdays 4-6pm at Friendly Hills (Girls only)
- Thursdays 4-6pm at Friendly Hills (ALL players)

This schedule will continue for four weeks (or sooner - weather permitting).
Come dressed in athletic clothes and shoes.

**All players are expected to be at all practices.  If you are unable to attend, email your coach.**

2015 Season Informational Meeting

Just a reminder that the info meeting for the 2015 season is this Monday!

Who:  Anyone (middle or high school) interested or planning on playing ultimate this season.
When:  Monday February 23rd, 3:15pm
Where:  Sibley Room A341

At the meeting, we will be giving you information for the season and for the fundraising we will be doing soon!

Update on Boys Game of Thursday. Both games will Be played at home and will start at 4:30. Players are expected to arrive at 3:45 and be ready to go by 4:00. If you have any questions let me know.

This week in Ultimate (Sorry I missed last week) April 28-may 3rd

League fees are due: Bring $20 for your jersey. This is you league fee (not to be confused with the Jersey fee which was paid on line). Last year this was $75. Fundraising has brought it down to $20.

This week is the Boys bye week, so all games this week should be make up games. It sounds like Boys B will have a make up game on Wednesday, and hopefully can set up another for Thursday.

Boys A will not have a game this week. If we would like to practice we can, if we want to scrimmage we could do that as well. If people want to not have any kind of practice and all go out to B-Dubs together that would also be an option. Josh and Crisanto will talk about options so let them know what you would like to do.

Girls  I believe are playing Saint Paul Charter at home on Tuesday, and then will be playing another home game on Thursday as a make up game.
